’tis the season… right?
i wanted to take a moment to thank all of my dear friends, loved ones, and a few unknown but supportive strangers who have helped give me some much needed encouragement in this blogging endeavor, which is extremely foreign to me. it’s meant more to me than i can really put into words – which, for a long-winded girl like me, is hard to do!
that being said, i know i’ve got a long way to go. i need to create a facebook page, a twitter account, somehow link my domain name to my blog, plus a plethora of other things i don’t even know yet, and that’s just the beginning of what i hear is a long road ahead. almost everyone i know who blogs feels like there’s always more they need to be doing, from posting a different picture of themselves to updating their “about me” page, from posting more often to editing their pics faster, from following fellow bloggers who follow them to just reading other blogs for inspiration.
however, instead of feeling daunted by all of this, i feel excited about the journey. as a dear friend once wrote, “everything starts at the seam.” so i’ve gotta start somewhere. which is why today, even though it’s not exactly where i want it to be, i’m telling the world about the perfect last bite. i’ve kept this blog pretty close to my chest, sharing it with just a few people here and there. i wanted to have at least 10 entries done before I shared it, a sorta self-imposed time frame to make sure it was “real.” well, we hit that mark last week as i went on a thanksgiving posting craze. my very cool friend & blog guru, beth, shared my blog with her friends and loved ones last week over at hello, splendor. check out what she said about my blog and culinary quest here and support her blog endeavor to live and share a blissful modern life.
so here it is, my very real 15th post. i welcome all of you to the perfect last bite and hope you find it to be an interesting read and an inspiring adventure. cheers!
