no regrets

so my days on masterchef are over… in fact, they’ve been over for some time now, but i’ve been under a “gag” order and could not talk about or reveal how far i got or didn’t get until… right now.

and even though i am finished on masterchef, i feel like i am truly now just BEGINNING.

i feel a new confidence in cooking.  i feel a new desire to learn & master all the things i struggled with.  i feel a passion to share with others, through this blog, what cooking from the heart looks and tastes like.  bottom line… i feel anew.

About Jennie

i'm like you... a lover of food and life. i cook, i create, i photograph, i dream - i love.

I was sorry to see you go. It seems you walked away with a lasting friendship with a group of your fellow contestants. I will continue to follow your blog, looking forward to the things to come.

I am so proud of you, Jennie! Very few people get to experience and accomplish what you just did! It will change your life forever! Well done, old friend! I thought that you handled yourself with great dignity…Loved to be a part of it with you.

    • Jennie says:

Thanks Keri! Great hearing from you & you’re right… I think it will change my life forever (it already has to some degree!). Check back here for recipes and tips (from the stuff I did on the show) and much more I do in the comfort of my loft! X

It’s a bummer to see you leave the show. You brought class and decency to a group of very egotistical people. There were a couple of nice people but many I could never root for. I have nobody to root for anymore. Good luck. I think you have a great career ahead of you.

    • Jennie says:

Thanks Robert! I had a great time & learned a ton. There are still plenty of people to root for… the editing is so extreme that you may not have seen any glimpses of that yet, but you will. Just wait… I look forward to hearing who you are rooting for next! xo

Hey Jennie, I’ll keep you posted…I have to remember that the camera tends to create the drama and ones impression, especially on a Gordon Ramsey show. ;-) I look forward to seeing who catches my attention and who rises up and takes it all. XOXO

I’m so impressed by your courage to take on such an arduous challenge! I’m sorry to see you go but am so glad you are not well-versed in frying food; that alone should have qualified you for the next round! I hope one day to enjoy the smells, sights and tastes of your gift!

    • Jennie says:

You’re right… it was pretty courageous. I think I just jumped into the deep end without floaties or a raft… but I didn’t sink! Keep reading… you can enjoy the smells, sights and taste in the comfort of your home! xo

I agree with the above comments, especially Robert. I appreciate that you weren’t insane drama! I still say I’m for #TeamJennieKelley and so long as you keep making beautiful healthy food, who cares if frying things to oblivion isn’t your strong point! So glad that CP pointed me to this blog. Keep up the great work!

    • Jennie says:

Well, first, any friend of CP is a friend of mine! Thanks for your support and kind words. I’m pretty low-key and genuine and if that means “no-drama” then so be it! I have always felt like most things happen for a reason… so I’m excited to see what’s next. Keep reading & spread the word! XOXO
